METRORail
Visitors to Museum District are encouraged to park along the METRORail line and take the train to the Museum District. Parking is available at the Fannin South Park and Ride, located at 1604 West Bellfort (@ Fannin St., just outside of 610 Loop South).
Then, hop on the METRORail for $1.25 one-way and make your way to one of three METRORail Stations located in the Houston Museum District:

- Hermann Park/Rice U station at Fannin and Sunset brings passengers near the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
- Museum District station between Ewing and Binz brings passengers to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and within walking distance of Asia Society Texas Center, Children’s Museum Houston, The Health Museum, Holocaust Museum Houston, and Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
- Wheeler station at Main and Wheeler brings passengers near the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft.
Houston B-Cycle
Make your way to and around the District on two wheels. Houston B-cycle is a bike-sharing program that works as an additional transportation alternative for people living and visiting Houston. Learn more about the program or join online.
