The Museum Experience features four walkable “zones” to help visitors navigate through the Houston Museum District and learn more about all 19 museums in a more personal way. On the last Saturday of January, April, July and September, each zone showcases a handful of museums at a time, complete with special programming and food trucks.

Located on the northeast portion of the Museum District, Zone 2 includes eight museums. Those museums are: Lawndale Art Center, Holocaust Museum Houston, Czech Center Museum Houston, Buffalo Soldiers National Museum, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston Museum of African American Culture, DiverseWorks, and Asia Society Texas Center.
