Campers ages 5-7 will enjoy the Bounce, Dribble, Run and Leap camp exploring new ways to keep the body healthy with fun, interactive exercise.
For the 8-10 crowd, Sports Doc camp transports kids into emergency sports medicine where participants learn about broken bones, how to prepare a cast and perform an actual cow's eye dissection.
With Risk It! camp, ages 11-13 will perform experiments in the DeBakey Cell Lab, take part in the human play station, explore the Amazing Body Gallery and more.
About the Camp
Discovery Camp cost is $350 per child and includes lunch and an afternoon snack. A limited number of scholarships are available for those in need with scholarship applications due by March 1. As always, museum members receive a tuition discount. Extended Camp Days are available with drop off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as 5 pm for an additional $15 per child, per day.
