This workshop provides students with the tools to write compelling proposals, such as grants for an artistic project, calls for entry submissions, or exhibition proposals. Students will learn about project cycles, identifying and applying for sources of support, developing budgets, and selecting and documenting work for proposal submission.

This workshop is ideal for photographers pursuing a body of work and with an existing artist statement. The workshop will provide space for peer-review of students’ artist statements and to discuss how effective their statements are in conveying information related to their body of work in a proposal.

What to bring:
- Portfolio of work in progress (printed images)
- Artist statement
- Laptop or writing device
