EXPLOREASIA Camp 1: Trekking Across Asia: Exploring the Continent’s Natural and Constructed Wonders

Monday, Jun. 6, 2016 – Friday, Jun. 10, 2016

09:00 AM – 03:00 PM
US/Central

Entering its fourth year, ExploreAsia camps engage Houstonians aged 6 to 11 with the arts, cultures, and histories of Asia. Past experiences have included hands-on multidisciplinary visual arts projects, interactive performances from some of the city’s leading dancers and musicians, experts on Asian traditions and contemporary life, language instruction by community partners, and food demonstrations of Asia’s most popular snacks.

The first session for Summer 2016, Trekking Across Asia: Exploring the Continent's Natural and Constructed Wonders, will feature stunning art projects and performances focusing on:

  • Asia’s Ancient Treasures
  • Biodiversity of Pacific Asia
  • Crossing the Himalayas
  • Modes of Transportation
  • Mountains and Deserts of the Arabian Oases

For more information, or to be added to the ExploreAsia email list, please contact Paul Pass at 713.496.9915 or [email protected].
