Presented by Helga Aurisch, curator, European art
In conjunction with the exhibition Habsburg Splendor: Masterpieces from Vienna’s Imperial Collections, this presentation takes visitors on a fashionable tour of the Habsburg court. See how formality, an insistence on the highest quality of artistry, and the many flavors of a multiethnic empire came together with joyous, and sometimes melancholy, abandon in the waltz capital of the world.
